Tropical paradise - Germany

Dream of coming to Germany and exploring the castles and visiting Berlin but the kids want to go to Hawaii? There's now a great compromise. Just outside of Berlin, you can visit theTropical Islands Berlin Tropical Islands. Tropical Islands is a tropical paradise erected in the biggest free standing dome in the world.

The Tropical Islands dome is large enough to hold 8 entire soccer fields and offers enough space for the skyscrapers of Berlin including the Sony Centre, the Gatehouse and the DaimlerChrysler skyscraper.

Inside the dome are tropical gardens with over 500 varieties of plants and trees towering to 14 meters. Beaches, volley ball courts, a children's play area, lagoons and authentic styled buildings from tropical lands including Bali, Kenya, Borneo, Thailand and the Amazon are but a few of the offerings.
